PTO Information
What We Do!
The primary purpose of our PTO is to bring LNE parents and school staff together to jointly determine how we can best benefit the school community, often by asking ourselves, what would really make a difference?
We then fundraise, secure partnerships with various organizations, and host events to raise the money we need to achieve our goals.
Who We Are?
Meet our board! We are a group of moms (with a combined 9 kids in tow) who have a shared interest in wanting to make every day at LNE a bit better than the one before. If you see us around, please introduce yourself!
Julia Goode
Co-President
Hi, I'm Julia and I'll be one of your PTO presidents this year. I have two kids at LNE, a first grader and
second grader, both of whom are in the DI program. If you are on the fence about the DI program, feel free to reach out.
My husband Caleb and I like to go hiking and try new local restaurants. If you know of a great place for us to try, please share!
I am an early morning bird and am typically up before the sun rises, but good luck trying to get in touch with me after 8 pm. I love being outside with my kids and when I have the time, a good book! I love Pinterest and crafting, so feel free to share all your Pinterest screenshots and maybe we can craft together!
I love to meet new people and make new friends. I am so excited to get to know so many more of you this year! If you see me around, feel free to say hi!
Kellie King

Hi, I'm Kellie. I have worked with the PTO in one capacity or another for the last 6 years. Bringing our LNE families together, having fun with our kids, and spoiling our staff is something I love to do.
I have 3 amazing kids,
two of which are in the DI program and one that graduated from the LNE DI program last year. I have been married to my husband Jeff for 19 wonderful years. We love traveling together, riding our motorcycle, and trying new restaurants!
I have my masters in elementary education and taught 2nd grade before I had kids and ultimately decided to stay home with them.
In my free time, I love reading, cooking, playing card and board games, doing puzzles with my family, and of course working out at Burn!
I am so excited to work with you again this year as co-president and make this year amazing for our kids.
Abby Richardson

Hey! I'm Abby and I'll be your treasurer!
I have two boys, a rising 4th grader in the DI program and a rising 9th grader at Lake Norman High School. My husband David, of 19 years, and I spend most of our time together watching our kids play sports, their favorite being soccer.
I worked at a skilled nursing facility as a speech pathologist and loved my job! I graduated from Michigan State - Go Spartans!
In my free time, when I get some, I enjoy reading, cooking, and online shopping - send me all your good deals! My favorite workout is with the Peloton. I may be slightly obsessed!
I love traveling with my husband and we love being outside! One of my favorite places to travel is to the Caribbean.
This year is going to be full of fun and excitement and I can't wait to show you all that we have in store.

Hi, I'm Amanda, my family and I joined the LNE community in 2021 when my oldest entered kindergarten. After helping with the PTO, I enjoyed it so much that I decided to become secretary!
I'm a wife/mom/MBA/grad/former NY-er/craft-enthusiast who loves organization and proper grammar. I truly look forward to communicating with you all and keeping you up-to-speed on the PTO happenings.
